Shackle your partner safely

• Make sure the handcuffs are not too tight. There should be enough space for 1-2 fingers between them and the wrist.
• If you want to shackle your partner to the bed, do not use self-tightening handcuffs - so only use silk, metal, and fur-covered handcuffs, for example, to tie your partner's wrists behind their back.
• If you shackle your partner standing (e.g., from a door frame), make sure their feet always touch the ground, as handcuffs are not suitable for hanging.
• Do not leave shackled persons alone, as we can never predict emergencies that require a quick response and immediate release (earthquake, fire, epileptic or panic attack...).
