All oils are harmful to latex and will destroy the material! The exception is silicone lubricants. Therefore, do not apply lotions or self-tanning creams and sprays to your body before and during wearing latex. Also, do not use olive or baby oil to help dress in the garment, but rather use a lubricant based on silicone.
While wearing latex, do not use perfumes or antiperspirants, as they often contain a mixture of chemicals that can react with the material and destroy the garment.
